Endowment

Building a robust endowment will provide enduring support for the preservation and enrichment of the Insight University educational programs. The University was founded without an endowment, and we hope to build a substantial one over the next several years.

Gift Planning

There are many ways to pass along a distinctive Insight University education to future generations of students–and a number of reasons to act today. If it is time to write or revise you will or living trust, please consider naming Insight University as a beneficiary. You will create a powerful legacy at a school that has meant so much to you, and you can capitalize on financial benefits as well.There are also a number of other ways you can maximize your gift to Insight University while meeting your financial needs, including making your contribution with:

  • A Retirement Plan: You can name insight University as the beneficiary of some or all of the assets remaining in your IRA, 401(k) or other qualified retirement plans after your lifetime on the “beneficiary designation form” provided by your plan administrator.
  • A Life Insurance Policy: Ask your life insurance agent for the beneficiary designation form and name Insight University a beneficiary of part or all of the policy proceeds.
  • A Bank or Brokerage Account: You can title (or retitle) a bank account as POD (payable on death) to Insight University. Similarly, you can title (or retitle) a brokerage account or stock certificate as TOD (transfer on death) to Insight University.

Insight University is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as an exempt public charity organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Insight University are tax-deductible under section 170 of the Code. In addition, Insight University can receive tax-deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.
