Insight Seminars are all about learning practical ways to live from your heart—the center of your authentic self. Our Seminars will support you in looking at what’s working and not working in your life and how you can make changes that will support you in creating and living a life you love.
Insight isn’t interested in changing you. We’re interested in you discovering – perhaps for the first time – that you are perfect just the way you are. Insight Seminars create the space for you to peel back the layers of beliefs, rules, illusions, judgments, and other limitations you may have allowed to block you from seeing how amazing you are and how great your life can be.
The Seminars are highly interactive and experiential for each and every participant, through a series of short presentations, one-to-one exercises, and lively group discussions.
The Insight Seminar series is offered for children, teens, and adults and are based in universal truths of loving, acceptance, and personal responsibility as dynamic and practical guides to living life. Insight does not teach any religious doctrine of any kind.
John-Roger and Russell Bishop created Insight Seminars in 1978 to give people accessible tools for living a successful life. Over the past 40 years, Insight has reached into 46 countries and touched the lives of more than a million people around the world.

THE INSIGHT FOUNDERS
John-Roger | Founder
John-Roger’s life and work were devoted to the teachings of the spiritual heart. With his infectious joy and unconditional loving, he embraced people around the world. To many, he was a Wayshower, lighting the path to living a life with greater peace, happiness, and love. He founded many wonderful organizations, including Insight Seminars, the nondenominational Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, University of Santa Monica, and more. In all that John-Roger did, he communicated living love. He lives in the hearts of the many people he touched throughout his life and his teachings are the foundation of Insight Seminars.
Russell Bishop | Creator
Russell Bishop is an early pioneer in large group personal growth programs and the creator of Insight Seminars. With 50+ years consulting, speaking, and coaching experience, he has become an internationally recognized expert in personal and organization transformation. His purpose-inspired work has helped thousands of individuals around the world create balance and success in their personal and professional lives by aligning with their true selves. Russell’s book, From Self-Talk to Soul-Talk: Becoming More of Who You Truly Are, translates the spiritual principles and foundations of Insight into practical, day-to-day living. In 1978, he created Insight Seminars with our Founder, John-Roger, and continues to contribute his mastery as a volunteer facilitator.
THE EXECUTIVE TEAM
Joey Hubbard | Chief Executive Officer
Joey Hubbard has dedicated the last 25 years to facilitating motivational, life and work seminars, as well as strategic planning and productivity to thousands of people and firms all over the world. Raised on the inner city streets of Los Angeles, Joey rose above the pervasive challenges to attend both UCLA and UCSD, and then began his career as a motivational speaker and performance enhancement coach. In addition to serving as volunteer CEO of Insight, he also serves on the Board of Directors and facilitates Insight Seminars throughout the world.
Rachael Jayne | VP of Operations
Rachael has been involved with Insight Seminars since its inception in 1978. Over time, she evolved from enthusiastic participant to lead facilitator. She was instrumental in developing the Insight Youth Program and is a key facilitator in Teen Insight and many of the adult Insight Seminars. She has mentored many teens and young adults into greater leadership as volunteer assistants for the various youth seminars. In addition to facilitating, she serves as the VP of Operations for Insight Worldwide.
John Morton | Chairman of the Board
John is the author of The Blessings Already Are and You Are the Blessings. Both books are inspirational guides for finding the blessings in ourselves and everyday life, regardless of our challenges. John has brought his heartfelt service around the world by presenting and creating seminars, classes and workshops on loving, peace, wealth, relationships, and practical spirituality. In addition to serving as Strategic Advisor, he is a member of the Insight Board of Directors.
